Free to be me is just what you see
I’m an adult lover of African American fashion dolls and male dolls such as GI Joe, Action Figures, Entertainers/Artists and any good looking 1:6 scale guy ready for a lady love. I have affectionately named my collection, DivaDolls Dioramas By Brenova.
I restyle my dolls and group them as families, friends and in communities. Next, I create 1:6 scale dioramas for my lovely guys and gals, which I’ll photograph and post as PhotoStories and PhotoVideos . Most of the stories are centered around families and positive relationships, with a marked emphasis on love. Basically, I’m a storyteller who loves to use dolls and photography to tell my stories.
I have loved miniatures as long as I can remember as well as 1:6 scale male and female dolls. A great diorama gets me excited, almost as excited as HO scaled train displays! It was natural, then, for me to put all of my loves together and thus the birth of DivaDolls Dioramas By Brenova. I am by no means a professional, I just do this because I love to creatively tell positive love stories and it’s a calming hobby. I hope you will have fun along with me!
Make no mistake about it…..crafting a story takes time, talent and treasures. I spend a lot of time thrifting just to find realistic pieces. Everyone who is serious about producing small scaled dioramas will probably say the same thing, “I can see the miniature in many things” even when nobody else can see it. And after doing all of that, I take hundreds of photographs and write many stories to produce my PhotoStories and PhotoVideos. Yes, it’s my passion and I love doing it! There is always another story to be told.

Trying my best to preserve family values and positive thoughts. I happen to use dolls as my genre. Thanks for noticing – it means a lot to me.

That is really wonderful and I applaud you for that!
I too think it is important to preserve good, clean values. I try to do the same with my doll art too. I think that’s one reason I’m so attracted to the 1950s era. At least on the surface, that era had much healthier values than today. There were problems back then of course, but I try to portray the good side of things.
